Singer Justin Bieber is set to perform at the wedding festivities of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant on Friday. On Thursday, social media was abuzz with pictures and videos of the singer arriving in Mumbai. Anant and Radhika are scheduled to tie the knot on July 12 at the Jio World Convention Centre in Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), Mumbai. In a clip shared by a paparazzo, Justin's car was seen navigating the streets of Mumbai. Previously, India Today reported that other international music stars such as Adele, Drake, and Lana Del Rey are also in discussions to perform at the wedding celebrations in Mumbai. According to a report from the Portuguese portal LeoDias, Justin Bieber is being paid a staggering $10 million by the Ambani family for his performance. The wedding festivities have already begun in full swing. Recently, the Ambani family organized a spectacular mameru ceremony. The event was attended by Mukesh Ambani, Nita Ambani along with her mother Purnima Dalal, Akash Ambani with his wife Shloka, Anant and Radhika, and Isha Ambani with her husband Anand Piramal. The mameru ceremony is a Gujarati wedding tradition where the bride's maternal uncle (mama) visits her with sweets and gifts. A notable highlight of the wedding plans includes a chaat stall from the renowned Kashi Chaat Bhandaar in Varanasi. As part of the wedding preparations, Nita Ambani visited Varanasi last month to seek blessings at the Kashi Vishwanath Temple. During her visit, she personally invited the shop owner, Rakesh Keshari, after sampling various chaats at his establishment.
Adding to their philanthropic efforts, Anant, Radhika, Mukesh, and Nita Ambani organized a mass wedding for the underprivileged on July 2 at Swami Vivekanand Vidyamandir in Palghar.
